Consider a Soft Reboot First
Before opting for a hard reset, consider performing a soft reset. This can often resolve minor issues without erasing all your data:
- Unplug the Sonos One: Disconnect the speaker from its power source.
- Wait for 10 Seconds: Allow the device to rest for about 10 seconds.
- Plug It Back In: Reconnect the speaker to the power source.
If issues persist after the soft reset, then consider a full reset or contacting Sonos support.
How to Reset Your Sonos One
Resetting your Sonos One will permanently delete all data, including registration information and data saved to My Sonos. This is useful when preparing to sell the device or if the Sonos app can’t detect your Sonos One during setup. - Wait for Green Lights: The lights will eventually flash green, indicating the Sonos One has been successfully reset.
